Yeah, Titan's team plus Noah's team (at least 3 supers and a bunch of non-super support) ought to be able to kick some Nazi ass. The real question is (assuming this goes through) -- how best to use the team up?

They could liberate the concentration camps...do any of the Untermenschen have the ability to transport large numbers of people across distances?

If not, there's always turning back the Germans in France or Africa.

Best try France as it was hit later on by the Nazi steamroller, compared to everything else around Germany (I think. my history lore is der leetle).

The thing is, I haven't actually defined what the powers of any of the other Untermenschen are. Other than Noah, we already have Magnus and Hippolyte and there could be others not yet defined. Given her Amazon-derived name, I had assumed Hippolyte was a Green Arrow type, but I was imagining Magnus to be some kind of sorcerer or something which could fit with the ability to transport. Of course, neither of these powers are officially defined IC yet. There could be someone with the ability to teleport groups, which would certainly put a big, huge wrench in a lot of plans -- Nazi army? Now I teleported it back to Berlin. Nyaah!

I was thinking of the concentration camps too. Do you think there should be a thriving community of ex-German/Polish/etc. Jews around Freedom in the modern day? And would this kind of thing prevent the creation of Israel in our timeline?

Yeah I think it might...at least to the scale of which it happened post war.

I see Freedom as a town that quickly becomes a city of many ethnic groups living together in relative harmony. Its Titan's Metropolis, after all, and all that such comparison's entail.

If you filter the camps into Freedom you get a lot of folks coming in to help build the area up. Some of whom were skilled, educated, and influential in their old lives and yet who all understand prejudice on the same levels of horrific extremes as the African Americans and Seminoles that you'd find in that area of Florida.

Add to this some progressive whites (some of the towns around Rosewood actually threatened to shoot mobs and Klansmen who tried to harm African Americans living amongst them during the violence of 1923), some refugees from elsewhere in the world and you've got a multicultural font of skill, heart, and wherewithal in one place. And you've got a honest to god superpower protecting it in the form or the SoF and the Untermenschen to keep powerful interests who want to preserve "the White Anglo Saxon Protestant way of Life!" (read "keep the lesser races in their places.") from exploiting the area.

Add to all of this 2 presidents during WWII who wanted to promote civil rights to some degree. FDR wanted to desegregate the military but found it politically difficult during the war, having to settle for creating black and other ethnic combat units like the Lonely Eagles and the Nisei staffed 100th and 442nd Infantry. Truman, bless that old stubborn Missouri mule, was so sickened by the idea of black soldiers being attacked and murdered after they returned from WWII he desegregated the military and basically told his detractors to stuff it. Even Eisenhower got in the act when he was President, sending troops in to enforce desegregation in the South when he was President (though it was a long drawn out fight overall).

So the seeds are there, and the actions of supers can likely bring things about faster than they did in our world.

I think kniedzw just helped us out, at least as far as the Polish concentration camps are concerned.
